Did you get a receipt or i797C notice when you submitted the application?

@Kenn . I got receipts for all 3 applications and they were from National Benefit Center in Missouri. My I360 as a widow hasn’t been transferred to Vermont, California, nor Nebraska. Today I was told all 3 applications are at Boston office although I live in the state of Georgia. I don’t really know what’s going on.

You don’t have to worry once your initial receipt is from NBC where your case should be at but the i360 as at when you applied should be sent to Vermont, did you send it to NBC? but yes they transfer cases to get processed faster in a no-busy field office so not to worry

@Kenn . Where was your I360 processed?

@Maki W Submitted Feb 2021, processed and approved in Vermont for i360

@Kenn . My lawyer sent the package all together and I got all receipts from National Benefit Center. Not sure why. Should I ask my lawyer about I360 not being in Vermont?

@Maki W Nope if it wasn’t in the right location you won’t have gotten a receipt it would have been a rejection so nothing to worry about and if you call they said it’s in Boston that’s not true because they can’t even give you no Vawa information over the phone because of its confidentiality

@ Kenn. I am a Widow filer, so that maybe different from actual VAWA. So I do not have to worry about my I360 is not in Vermont? Did my lawyer make mistake of sending my applications to wrong locations? Did they need to send them to Vermont (Now Nebraska )? I need to talk to my lawyer for clarification because all discussions here about I-360 seem to be dealt with Vermont and only mine seems to be at National Benefit Center.

@Maki W I just checked it now and yes that’s the right location your forms should be sent. Very correct it’s a Lovkbox and receipt will come from NBC but it will be distributed to be processed so nothing to worry about

Since I reside in the state of Georgia and my lawyer sent my applications to lockbox in Illinois, therefore I got all receipts from the National Benefit Center? I don’t have to worry about it where I got my receipts and where my applications are currently?

@Maki W I live in Georgia too and yes you don’t have to worry, you have your receipt. Yours is not abuse rather it’s death of a partner so you’re 💯 percent good. nothing to worry about

@Maki W Lol I understand but have in my your case is of a Widow and not Abuser so you’re on the right track. but question your lawyer more don’t hurt so you’re very good 👍🏾. And Atlanta is the slowest processing i485, I have my Vawa approved Dec 14 2022 and now i485 still pending

@Kenn . I was told by live chat by USCIS that my applications are in Boston office. I live in Georgia and thought it would be my local office….. Not really sure what exactly is going on with my applications……. Congratulations on I360 Approval. Do you get your EAD approved before your I360 being approved?

@Maki W The reason why it’s in Boston is because it’s disbursed from Lockbox to locations that are less busy to process. Atlanta don’t process i360 they will only process your i485. So after your i360 approved from wherever it is then NBC will send your i485 to your local field Atlanta for processing. i360 can be processed anywhere that has the jurisdiction to process it

@Kenn . Did your EAD (I765) get approved before your I360 get approved?

@Maki W Yes I have a C09 based on i485 filed along with my i360 but I got another c31 after my Vawa got approved as well

@Kenn . I am a widow with two kids who are US citizens and I really need a work permit to be able to support them and give them stability. This will be my 7th months since I applied I360, I485 and I765……..I would really like to get a work permit as soon as possible.

@Kenn . How soon did you get your EAD after you applied?

@Maki W if your Lawyer files i765 for you then you can expedite through Senator based on hardship and unable to take care of your US born kids

I filed Feb 2021 got EAD June 2021 back then
