@Ruth C, where you able to get your beneficiary passport number updated. Remember the first group of people who submitted their applications had problem with their Passport #. Now I am trying to get these numbers updated. I reach out to USCIS via inbox and submitted a picture of the passport for the person with no luck.

I filed 3 cases on january 11 but receipt notices said Jan. 12. On january 12 i received 6 emails from USCIS saying we have news on your case, pls login and I didn't have any updates and no news yet, only receipt notices, dated January 12

when you check the case did you see another document like confirmation. once the person receive the confirmation, this is when you can create their uscis account confirm the information submitted( make sure they are correct) , submit the information to CBP, download the cbp and do the rest. I know someone personally who landed in the US today. Let's be patient

Rich B, how do you know they have been approved? did they send the email to the beneficiary and cc’d you on it? I got the same emails like Me. Du Halll but nothing in uscis except for the receipt notice.

Hello, got my confirmation email yesterday. I been waiting since the 9th of January. So all I need to do is to get the beneficiary passport corrected in order to have them complete the CBP. The best option is to call. I had called before this regarding the passport but instead, it seems my case was confirmed and accepted. When you call, say "schedule an interview " and after the automatic system will ask "are you looking to schedule a bio interview " just say "no" and you will be transferred over to an agent.

@Ezee S: Hi! No, I spoke with someone on Tuesday and I was told an agent will be calling me this week to go over the details. I saw last night there was a system update and during this time, USCIS normally goes in the next day to start updating passports. I hope we all get the update done by this week! Does anyone know what to select for the Covid 19 options since no where in Haiti at the moment has the Vaccine available? There were 3 or 4 options.

@Jess L: Hey 👋, I was promised a call back too but still nada. Last night one rep told me they will not be calling me back I just gotta wait.. so frustrating. Regarding your Covid question, I think everyone answered yes to it. I know a few people people who already arrived in the U.S but didn't take the vaccine and they were not asked about it nor asked to show proof at the port of entry. I was told you can answer it honestly and state that the vaccine is not available there. Once they send the travel document they'll ask you to take it within 90 days after arrival in the U.S, just like the vaccine for tuberculosis. Hope that helps.

@Ezee S: Hello! I agree that this is getting frustrating especially I think this is something they could have done over the phone. You have the option on the beneficiary profile to update the biographies details expect the passport. Odd you can change the date but not the number. That should have been an options which could have saved so much time. Thank you as well for answering the covid 19 vaccine question. I appreciate it! 🙏🏽 I hope this gets resolved for us all soon. If it's not one thing thing, it's another. Now, people stated the CBP is an issue.

@Jess, they finally corrected the passport number for me today 2/11/23. I am not sure if it's updated for you but this is what I recommend you do. I originally sent the request to update it from the beneficiary's USCIS account on 2/01/23, after waiting a week with no response, I decided to send a request from the sponsor's account on 2/08. They responded to the sponsor's request on today but never responded to the 1st request that was sent on 2/01. So you might wanna send them a request from your account if you are the sponsor. Regarding the app CBP one, it's garbage. When you get to this step, I can help you. I found a workaround it. Hopefully you hear something soon.

@Ezee S: Thank you for the update and I am excited they were able to correct the passport for you! I sent a message before on 1/29 before they had approved the form but after I sent a message from the beneficiary account on 2/6 and still nothing. I tried what you suggested just now and I pray it works. Odd that I sent the message now on 2/11 but I'm seeing 2/12 for some reason. I'll let you know if there is any change on my end. Thank you so much and yes, once completed I'm open to assistance with the CBP app.

@Jess: In less than 10 hours after submitting the CBPone info I received the travel document. So I am all set now. Wish you all good luck. I'll be checking this forum from time to time if I can answer any questions based on my experience.

@Mike Sony: Yes -- my wife has the same problem. This case is probably even more complicated than yours. She is helping a young lady and her pre-teen son. The son's passport had the "two-letter" problem but the mother's passport is fine. My wife did send a note and a copy of the passport when she applied, but USCIS approved the son's application with the wrong passport number anyway. Unsure of what to do, my wife then instructed the beneficiary to proceed with the wrong number. It is only after that she saw the notice that they were supposed to wait for USCIS to fix the passport number first. So, the mother's passport is accepted but the son's is rejected. The two cases are linked together on the mother's account. To make matters worse, my wife didn't have the prescience to create a new email address for the application. She used the mother's email account. So, the mother is managing the process from Haiti with guidance from us in the US; she barely understands English. Hopefully, the immigration agent will help them to solve the problem. Thank you!

@Linda Bi: I don't know if this well help but your problem was also my problem except that we caught the error before we submitted the attestation. I asked the beneficiary to update a copy of the passport and send the message as instructed and he did on 2/01. we waited 6 days and never heard anything. Then I (the sponsor) logged into my USCIS account and sent the exact information the beneficiary sent. I did so on 2/08. On 2/11 they responded to request and updated it but they never responded to the request that was sent from the beneficiary account on 2/01. Not sure why they ignored his request and responded to mine even though mine was sent much later. You can try contacting them from your account. Whoever applied for them will be able to see the file and link the request to it like I did.

@Ezee S: My wife did send them a note. They responded to her (and not to the beneficiary), indicating that the correction was made. Apparently, they responded to all the outstanding notes from the sponsors on the 11th. The fact that the beneficiary had already submitted the attestation could be the cause of the problem, although my wife did indicate in her note to USCIS that the attestation was already submitted. Thanks!

Hello! I submitted my application on 1/9 and got approved on 2/6. The waiting game is real. Now, my beneficiary is stuck on the CBP app. It's been stressful getting the photo part to work. Even downloading the old app version didn't let her open the app.

@C Louis Hello! It seems everyone have different waiting period but just patient and waiting. I apply on 1/9 and got the confirmation for my beneficiary on 2/6 close to 30 days actually. And another thing I realized is once they got the 30,000 for the month, the hold off until next month. Download the case track app to get updates on the case and also see the bulletin board for the next date they are working in each things. I hope this helps.
