I-131 travel parole
My wife's I-131 has been approved and she went on a trip to Brazil and she's only going to return after 4 months, within the date allowed on the travel letter. Is there any problem with her returning to the United States after 4 months in Brazil?

She should be ok. They will
most likely pull her for secondary inspection which isn't anything to worry about.
They may ask why she was out so long or they may not ask a thing.

@ivy ivy she got the green card approved in June and traveled to Brazil in 28th December and will be back to Brazil in April 28th. her I_131 will expired may 20th!

they always pull you on secondary to check your status cos the officers at the front don’t have the access.

I had experience with I-131. You need to pass a secondary check, it will take 30-60 min additionally, no questions asked.
