@Mazza De sorry for the intrusion, but I have a question. I received the travel document and would like to travel outside of America. Do you know how long I’m allowed to travel for and what questions will be asked upon my return if I haven’t received a decision on my I-485 yet

@Ash Alsh I’m not sure about the regular travel document . mine was emergency and it has a date where should I must come back before . maybe I ask how long took you to get the travel document?

@Ash Alsh go ahead and travel no worries but don't stay longer than 180days and when returning you'll be placed in secondary inspection. No need to be scared there,just a few questions on your trip and you'll be stamped upon entry It's a travel docs and it's purpose is for you to take short trips outside of the USA

sorry for your loss ! yes , you could go apply it , 1. bring yr ticket booking , must departure within 14 days. with a return date . ( around 1-1.5 months they will accept , if you want to visit yr families too ) 2. birth certificates of you and yr mom / father , to prove she is yr grand ma .
