Hello everyone! My interview was today and approved on the spot. I was adjusting my status from F-1 student. Here’s my timeline (married to AC): 10/15/2019 - Case was received. 1/24/2020 - RFE received. 2/24/2020 - Sent response for RFE. 3/19/2020 - Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. 3/5/2021 - Interview has been scheduled. 4/6/2021 - Interview was at 12:20 pm and status changed to New Card Is Being Produced at 7:30pm! I received my first EAD in April 2020, applied for renewal in January 2021 and received the renewal in February 2021!

Lucienne, I did go to the interview and the officer said I was approved after he was done intervewing!

@Pepper Yam, he just asked when and how we met, when did we get married, he asked me if I’m done with college (I graduate in May) and he asked me the Yes or No questions from the form. That was pretty much it. He mostly went through the documents and pictures we submitted and checked the originals!

@Par*** bio was done in November 2019. My process took 18 months total thanks to COVID lol

@Jalia lisa, my whole timeline is up there... it took me 17 months from the time I applied until getting the interview notice.

@qan hong, we did it together! And yes, you can bring your small child with you, I have a friend who did and it was fine!

No! He asked us when we got married, confirmed our personal info (dob, address, etc) and that was pretty much it. He also asked my husband how we met and when!
