We received the receipt number on October 20, 2022. I am a foreigner and my husband is a US citizen. Our case is in Nebraska. 82 days have passed so far. Any guesses when Nebraska will investigate the October 22 cases? first report went from 9 months, now shows 6 months to the end #i-130#Nebraska

if you filed online, sometimes the default service center is Nebraska, so do well to ask Emma about your SC to confirm. good luck

Filed mone Feb 12 2022. Nothing yet. Case went into active review immediately. Was first in Texas then was transferred to Nebraska

Emma is the live chat tool on the USCIS website. Try and get a live chat agent, give them your name, date of birth, case number and they will check to see if your case moved service centers. There is no other way to check to see if they switched your service center. You must contact them

Try and type ‘representative’ or ‘live agent’ or ‘that did not help me’ to Emma. It is a bit stubborn and tries its best to keep people from connecting to an agent

you have to ask Emma very early in the morning on a working day, around 8am. you’ll be able to reach them and it’s much easier than calling. type live agent and click technical difficulties and proceed with other instructions
