anyone know why USCIS is taking so long with processing? looks like there are only 23 similar cases and my friends were able to bring their parents in less than 3 months here…. Help?

applied for parents on July 8,2021. actively reviewing mom's case on November 16,2021. actively reviewing dad case on December 16,2021. Nebraska SC. idk how long should i wait 😒 one of my friends applied on april 2021 and last month she was approved from NVC.
