I 130 stuck since nov 2022 ( pending) #F2A
Hi everyone, I wanted to get some advice about my case. My I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) was filed on November 27, 2022, and the last update I have is: “Case is still being processed” (December 2022).
Since then, I haven’t received any updates at all, and it’s now been over 3 years. My questions: - Is this kind of delay normal for I-130 cases?
- Should I submit an inquiry or contact USCIS?
- At what point can I consider the case outside normal processing time?
- Has anyone had a similar timeline and eventually got approved?
Any advice or shared experience would really help.
Thank you
#F2A

If USCIS says it is still within normal time and the inquiry date is in May, I would wait until that date and then submit an outside-normal-processing inquiry. A long wait is frustrating, but not unusual in some F2A/family categories. Keep your address updated and monitor the account documents tab.
