I-130 Progress: Ranked 2nd but No Other Updates – Anyone Experienced This?”
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand my I-130 progress and wondered if anyone has had a similar experience.
Here’s my situation:
• My I-130 (IR-1/CR-1) was filed on September 20, 2024, at the National Benefits Center.
• I recently started using Lawfully, and it shows my ranking as 2nd out of 416 cases with similar filing dates. This seems positive, but I haven’t received any updates beyond the biometrics on the official USCIS website.
• The USCIS website only provides an estimated timeline (currently at 10 months for processing). Since I’m not the petitioner, I can’t get detailed case info from USCIS chat agents.
Has anyone else seen their Lawfully ranking progress (2nd) without receiving updates directly from USCIS?
• Does this mean the I-130 decision is likely close?
• Are there any other factors I should be aware of?

@Sarah Goode The ranking does not mean much. I paid for the same thing. Do not be overly hopeful based on it. Mine said 150-200 for my 765 and 131 and then they got approved. My 130 has been at 4th for like 1.5 months.

@🌴island bwoy 🥥🍹 A friend of mine got hers approved in less than 60 days. She filed in August and she has her green card approved even before her EAD and Travel Permit. It’s case by case basis. I was only trying to interpret this app’s analysis. They already confirmed they waived my interview. I am not in any hurry to get my GC. I just need my travel permit approve, I have to visit planned events and ailing family members
