I-130 pending for a year. is it normal?
hello everyone. I'm a permanent resident and I filed F2A last october. the status changed to "actively being reviewed" in December and theres no update till now. is this normal? what would be the next step? how much longer would I have to wait? anyone with ideas please help. thank you

Look at your priority date on your receipt. There is a visa calculator that can assist you in figuring out when the visa is processed. in other words, when it is current. But it is normal. In the event that you become a citizen, make sure to upgrade it by letting them know.

update: I just got my citizenship through millitary service and was wondering if this will help speed up my childs I-130 approval. anybody has idea? please help
