I-130 Notice Explaining USCIS’ Actions Was Mailed.
Hello everyone, I have a question. My I-130 and I-485 were filed together in July 2024. My interview was completed in July 2025. After that, in early August, my I-130 status changed to “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed.” About six months later, my I-485 also changed to “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed.” I crossed my 2-year marriage anniversary on April 1. Today, I received a notification on my I-130 case saying, “Notice Explaining USCIS’ Actions Was Mailed.” Has anyone received the same notification before, and what did it mean in your case?

@Surya Aditya Sounds like a NOID or an actual denial. Did your interview not go well?

You should have something in the document option, it might take two days to appear.

@Rocco Forté The interview went well, and we submitted all the documents at the time of the interview. If it were a NOID or a denial, I believe I would have received a response within 3 to 6 months after the interview. Even after 12 months, the status update only mentions that I should provide the requested documents and that they are reviewing my I-130. So far, no document has been uploaded.

@Surya Aditya I wonder what they don’t like about your case. In a couple of days, you’ll receive the letter in the mail, informing you of their intention to deny the case and giving you 30 days to respond. if you don’t currently have a lawyer, I strongly advise you get one to make sure you robustly respond to the NOID.
