I-130
Hello everyone , my I-130 standalone case was transferred to my local field office last week after sitting at Texas Service Center for almost 15 months. Has anyone had an experience like mine before ? Do y’all think I’ll have to wait a lot longer or it’s near a decision ?

@Felix Perez I believe the processing center your paperwork is assigned to is determined by your state of residence. But the paperwork may be transferred to another processing center, if your processing center workload is higher than others. even if you filed online.

@R G I wasn’t notified when my case was transferred, but I found out by asking an agent through Emma you can request a live agent.

@Felix Perez It doesn’t really matter how you file! it gets assigned according to your state of residency and can be transferred if workload is higher than others. I filed online it was assigned to Nebraska then transferred to Texas

@one a They didn't assign my case anywhere. It was probably because I lived outside the USA but I moved to the US about a year ago and then I changed the address, but still they haven’t assigned me anything.

@Felix Perez you can find out by asking Emma on USCIS Website, request a live agent and you can ask them which services center your case is in. The petitioner (the US citizen or green card holder) has to be the one that asks them. they will ask for receipt number, first and last name, address, birthday etc. once they verify the info, you can ask them. :)
