hello everyone, submitted my I-130 almost 19 mounts ago, still haven't hear anything. recently we could be able to ask about it and they said "your case delayed cause of security check"
and they said that they can't decide untill they recive the result. it's just really hard to belive a security check is taking that long.
is there anyone else who has the same situation?

Background checks could take very long time... you can sue USCIS on your own, especially if you cannot afford an attorney, and it's much cheaper, my friend did it for his delayed case, and got papers within 45 days. Youtube "writ of mandamus pro se"

Did they give u the second actively review and then let you upload anything?

no they did not, it still reviewed once and that's all. we just asked why it's taking that long and the "security check" was their answer. which does not make sense at all i belive so. i am still thinking 19 months is a really long time for this. i really dont know what to do
