I-130 Marriage Timeline
Hey everyone, wife and I just hit one year today in the process. Reading over everybody’s experiences I can tell this is a much more daunting task than we originally thought. Think I just wanted to vent about how while I understand there’s a process, it seems absurd how much time we’ll have to be apart from one another since we’re going about this the legal way. Love her to death and didn’t think moving a canadian to the states would be hard! Wish everyone who’s going through this a good weekend and hope you all get some good news!

it definitely is a process it’s very hard to be away from the love of your life for so long. I’m currently waiting as well. September 27, 2023 California center. I hope you get approved soon.

I'm January 12 2024 and we just got our 1 year mark it's so frustrating my husband is in Syria to it's counselor processing good luck to all of you 🙏🙏🙏

@15 months to get first approved then nvc @1 month to get interview date, depending on embassy/country 2+ months.
