I-130
if somebody has a lawyer can you ask them a question for me please?
ive been waiting 1 year and 5 months for my I-130 to get approved I filed back in 2020. I see that a lot of people filed in 2021 and they already got approved.. I really don’t want to wait another year.. son I wonder if I filed another application will I get approved faster???
please help!!!

You can get an idea of how long it will take to process your case from the processing time table available on our website at egov.uscis.gov/processing-times. If your receipt date is before the “Receipt date for a case inquiry," you can submit an e-request at egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do.

i filed I 30 for my 12 year old son, back in august 2020, California service center, in january Last year got a notification that the case was been actively reviewed. and since then nothing happen. 😪😔

check your service center https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ , if its out of processing time you can make a case inquiry, once you have a letter from there with the inquiry # , reach out to your congress so they can help you expedite,

you can do the something, ask to chat with emma and ask for a representative https://www.uscis.gov/ , once you see the window ask emma entered your receipt # it would ask you for the date you proccess the application, address full name and phone number
