I-130 file in 2018 and still waiting
My US citizens sister file I-130 for me on January 2018. 6 years later which will be in 2 months still nothing from USCIS yet. I finally called them Wednesday and they told me it will take 24-26 more months to get a decision. Why California service center is so slow compared to Texas service center?

but all this have normal time this case in Texas is 44.5 month and if your case is more than this in Texas you need to contact customer care

@onelove lets say the texas service center approve ur case, the main problem is that the case will move to nvc , thr nvc will not do anything with ur case until the visa is available becuase for catagory petition u have to follow the visa bulliten every month, ur priority date must be same in visa bulliten date at that time the nvc will start working in ur case, so its a long journey u have to know that .

@Youry for F4 visa u have to know that its need more time to process, whats ur priority date , when u know that date u can follow the visa bulliten and see when they will start process ur case

That’s interesting. I do not understand why immigration so slow on everything. Even now a spouse permanent resident can take up to 3 years as before it was 2 years maximum. My bother married his wife and file her her in 2019. She got her permanent resident in 2022
