Hello, family,
I feel like we got skipped. Our Priority Date (PD) is March 2023. I became a U.S. citizen in June 2024, and we upgraded our case to IR1 in July 2024. It’s been 21 months, and we haven’t heard anything. The stress is becoming too much. This consular processing is for a beneficiary from the Philippines.

hi, have you contacted them and confirmed that your case was upgraded? we got approved the day they upgraded our case (f2a to ir1, pd Aug 2022)

there’s no priority date for US Citizen Spouses. you guys are treating this like an F2A type visa which requires a visa to be available. For Citizens applying for Spouses the visas are always available. the delay is always factored by backlogs and whoever has your case.

Yes, I contacted them many times even had a confirmation from my congressman that it was upgraded.
