Khan wu, I did file an expedite but it was rejected. then I contacted a congressman/senator, and they told me that my expedite request doesn't warrant the urgency I am imposing and didn't do anything. I then requested a call back from a USCIS Tier 2 agent, and I missed the call. just when I was about to give up hope, within a day, the case went to actively reviewed, and then within a day it went to approved status.
good luck you all! my only suggestion - don't give up - just keep trying - again and again and again - until something shakes loose from the system.

@maiten m, yes I applied for K3 as well, but my I-130 was processed instead of my K3.

@j w, K3 is totally useless. I don't think USCIS even processes those, unfortunately.
And it's more of a headache. you'll have to file for work authorization seperately.

@khan Wu, congressman was useless. I asked them to have USCIS at least look at my evidence before they reject it. congressman said my evidence wasn't good enough and that it's pointless.

@Asma, Vermont service center is actually the slowest of them all. they report the i-130 taking 16 months

@Asma, I case went to actively reviewing exactly after I submitted it. It stayed that way for 6 months before it went to approved status. You can check the USCIS Processing Times for the different centers yourself. Just Google it. It's super straightforward.
@L A, same goes for you. Just Google Contact USCIS. They sometimes ask you to talk to EMMA, their chatbot. Emma is useless. Try to call their 1-800 number of you can. Outside US, you have to place an international call. Even congressman emails and phone numbers are available through a simple Google search. You'll have to find them for your spouse's residence.

I’m in active review contacted uscis through Emma got a hold of live chat but even than, the live agent just told me wait until it continues processing normally and to check the date online so I can contact them. In other words it was useless 😫
