what about your I-485 is it under actively reviewed?

@Mac Roy Awah I saw it like 24 hours ago, they emailed me saying action was taken. Also, no I-485. I’m a US citizen, I filed for my wife who is outside the US.

did you have to get your state representative involved to get it approved fast? or did y’all just waited?

@Jane Voto I tried that but it didn’t do much in my experience. Contacted my representative, filled out the form, she contacted USCIS, they told her it takes 12-14 months, she relayed it back to me and that was that.

Yayyy! Same here. Yesterday May 6, I also got a second notice "Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS," dated today May 7. When I logged into USCIS and looked in my Documents tab, I saw "I-130 Approval.pdf" dated today, May 7! In it, it says "The above petition has been approved." So though my official status still says "Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS," I expect it to change today to "Case Approved"! My wife and I are overjoyed!!!

@Melissa Lorgen I did file a K3 but it went nowhere. Even now it only says “case received.” I heard they rarely give them out and extremely slow processing times right now.

@T A February was when I contacted my representative. The other questions, all the information is there on the timeline I shared.
