I would just like to share my experience with everyone. I am married to a USC & filed Sep. 28th 2020. It is worth noting that we have only been married for a month before filing, but been together for alot longer.
Feb. 19th did my biometrics
July 1st did my interview, and was approved on the spot
It was an overall smooth process. the officer was very nice, respectful, conversational and really made it feel like he just wanted to get to know us better.
With all that being said, I would like to add that our application was very very strong, we reviwed everything 4-5 times before filling, wa added as much evidence as possible, photos, text messages, trips, wedding…all that good stuff. We’ve also included my medical exam with the initial application, and made sure we got everything right. I cannot stress that enough people.
Lastly, I was approved on July 1st, and my card is currently being produced. good luck to everyone.

congratulations. my interview was exactly the same date but my PD was Dec 11 2020. my biometrics was Feb 18. My officer said that he’s going to take a couple weeks to review my case which was odd to me because my case was very strong but the next day it said card being produced

@PD DP Yes. That is pretty much your whole application! It is all about proving that a relationship exists & that it’s legit. you can submit photos, text conversations, auto insurance (if both on policy), lease agreement (if both on it)…anything that shows that your life is joint.
@hopeful2021 gd of course! very basic questions like:
where did you meet
did you meet each others parents
what are their names
what kind of flooring do you have in your apartment
what color are the cabinets in the kitchen
what car do you drive - year, make, model
who cooks in the house - what do you cook
when did you get married
do you have a join bank account - show proof
