how did you submit an expedited request? what was your reason?

being in the US Army didn't help me expedite the case. my request to expedite the case was denied stating that I didn't meet the criteria for expediting.

hi @apple ball so in my case they never said something like we didn’t meet the criteria ~ this doesn’t mean the your case will be expedited, as that decision will be made by the reviewing office. As such, the reviewing office may request additional documentation to support expedited processing. Also, if your documentation is in any language other than English, it must be accompanied by a Certified English Translation. The referral ID for this inquiry is *****. The CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER will contact you concerning your case once they have reviewed your inquiry. Please allow the USCIS office 10 days to contact you through email. So this is what they told us it’s confusing but we are still waiting for the email again.

@apple ball so our case was submitted last July 2023 and I’m sure it will take more months before we will hear something back from them again.

being in army won't necessarily expitide your case. I am serving in the army and tried to expitide my spouse case, but got denied stating that I didn't meet the criteria for expitide. so being in army won't help. you need to meet the criteria that are listed in uscis expitide case. after you submit the request to expitide, they will respond within 2 business day. you will get a call from them.

@apple ball but everyone of us have different cases so ours is like not 2 days but 10 business days to wait and we heard from them thru email so basically yours is quickly denied but yea we haven’t heard back if it’s denied or what so we are following it up as well
