Yes filing office. They send me a letter when informing me that I didn’t filled the place of interview. (I did but think they have lose it) My I-130 F2A it’s approved. I’m just waiting for I-824 form and I don’t know when can be approved 🙄

11 months between NBC and Potomac. currently it is at at Potomac since January

@Florina Kopaci look at the notice receipt, it is right in the bottom. sometimes they transfer cases without letting you know. so you better call them to check on which center is processing your case

@Dayanul karim The three letters that begin your new case number will identify the service center where your case is. My case number (YSC) is a Potomac Center case number.

@Florina Kopaci F2A my husband is green card holder and our I 130 is approved since July 13 2022 and after that we filed I 824 form for the same reason like you and nothing changed case received since July 2022

@s k your i797 notice explain what will happen to your i130. if they mention that you must file i824 to transfer your case to nvc which means the beneficiary will attend an interview in the country where he or she leaves now. if they mention to file for an adjustment of status which means the beneficiary is here in the US. now one of this form has to be filed and submitted otherwise your i130 approval won't move anywhere.

@s k again to clearly understand each other if i797 form is i130, do as they said which is what I mentioned in the first post. if i797 is about i824 approval, no need to do anything as they will move it to the next step depending on what i824 was filed for.

@s k at this point you should send an inquiry to nvc to check if they receive your approval case?

i filed i 824 today too. Vey paiful to wait guys. I feel so sad. I miss my wife.

@good guy they are just money hungry agency. USCIS is purposely lying about mistakes on applications.
