Humanitarian Parole from India
My brothers Humanitarian Parole is approved because my other citizen brother in the U.S. is not doing well due to a Traumatic Brain Injury. I was wondering if the EAD or SS number is only available for Haitians etc. or can he apply for them as well until he’s here on the Humanitarian parole?

yes he can apply for his SS once he’s here in America because he will need it for pretty much everything.

how long did it take for the application to be approved?

sorry for the delayed response mark. it took 21 days with USCIS because I expedited it! Then with the local embassy (since I’m from india) it took total of 2 weeks from the interview to stamping on the passport.
