How valid are the contracts which you sign with some employers who help you with the placement?
Hi everyone,
I am currently working with an employer under OPT and they made me sign a contract before placing me with a client with whom I currently work for. It’s been 8 months i have been working with this same client. I also received full time offer from them and i am willing to take it as they are offering me more pay with benefits. Unfortunately if i take that offer, it will be a breach of contract as it’s stated over there that i can not take any full time offer with their client. I needed to know if these kind of contracts are even valid? What happens if i breach that? What can i do in this case? Has anyone faced similar situation then please share your experience on how you dealt with it.
I appreciate your help/guidance on this!

For you to change the offer of employment or employer, your Form I-485 must have been pending with USCIS for 180 days or more. You may request to “port” your job offer using the Form I-485, Supplement J, Confirmation of Bona Fide Job Offer or Request for Job Portability Under INA Section 204(j)

you can join and don’t let your employer know that you joined . just tell your employer you’re moving out of country for good
