How to update lawfully case when case transferred to FO?
My case was transferred to my local FO in San Diego. Should I now update my case to California Service Center?

Don’t change it to California Service Center. When your case gets transferred to a Field Office, that’s a different track than service centers. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services service centers (like California Service Center) handle things like I-130, I-140, EAD, etc. Field Offices handle local processing, mainly I-485 (interviews, final decisions). Once your case is moved to your local field office (in your case, San Diego), it means it’s in the final stage of adjudication, not back at a service center. A transfer to a field office is generally a good sign. It usually means: - Interview may be coming (if required), or - They’re preparing for final decision You’re basically closer to the finish line than before.
