@Justin Uzumaki yes on their account on uscis website under the documents tab at the bottom there is a an option there to upload evidence, they can either draft a letter pointing acknowledging the error and upload evidence to support

@Justin Uzumaki , I don't think that will be a major problem. He can correct them during the interview. Most officers will ask whether you want to make corrections on the form before proceeding. If they issue him/ her a receipt notice after submitting the application, then no big deal.
