My Spouse Submitted a request for upgrade from F2a to Ir1 on the 29th of January, 2024 and we got it upgraded on the 31st of January,2024. just 2 days after. pls try the process again and try attach a cover note

write a short note to Nvc stating when you got naturalization and that your spouse is believed to be upgraded to Ir1 and that you will like them to upgrade

you should call them maybe they didn't receive your request !!

@Patrick ibok did you do the upgrade at USCIS or NVC ? and I have done two upgrade requests so far. they keep telling me it can take up to 30 days and I also mailed the service center a letter requesting the upgrade along with supporting documents. This is so frustrating

@Bee Amri I’ve called multiple times and they keep telling me the request is still processing but hasn’t been assigned to an agent yet. I contacted the ombudsman now and my congressman. hopefully something soon

@Lima S my upgrade was to NVC because my case was already Dqed
