3-6 weeks but USPS is struggling now during holiday season

yeah when I sent it last year it took 4 weeks for them to open the package. i know because they cashed my cheque

i got mine receipt notice in 5 days of sending my application I also sent the G-1145 with my application so I can receive update on my phone

You should be receiving something near February. December is a tricky month with Holidays and people taking vacations, it slows the process down, however it usually takes 1/2 months after sending your forms.

I say 1/2 months, although most lawyers like to talk weeks just go make it seem faster. 4-6 weeks is usually what it takes, however, like I stated half of December doesn’t really count.

If your petitioner is a resident, it’ll take longer than if they were a citizen. It is currently taking 3-5 years for the whole process. I’m almost on year 3 and barely got my biométrics appointment for January. It’s a waiting game, but have patience and faith. :)))
