you'll have to wait till next month. they already exhausted the number of allocated GCs for the fiscal year.

Where did you hear that @Backlogged Immigrant? My case has been transferred to NBC on July 29th. I talked to Emma and they told me it was actually at the Dallas FO. No news since then but I’m hopeful it’s coming soon. Most cases I’ve seen have been approved in <30 days after transfer.

@Backlogged Immigrant - FYI. I don’t think they issued 70k GCs in the past 6 weeks. “DOS has determined that the FY 2022 employment-based annual limit is 281,507 – (slightly more than double the typical annual total) – due to unused family-based visa numbers from FY 2021 being allocated to the current fiscal year’s available employment-based visas. Through July 31, 2022, the two agencies have combined to use 210,593 employment-based immigrant visas (FY2022 data is preliminary and subject to change).”

I checked with Agent today and they told my 485 application was transferred today from NBC to my local San Antonio FO. so I hope things are still moving and we might have a chance before end of fiscal year! not sure though if they can give the GC since dates have retrogessed 😌

Yeah there are still a lot of transfers but I think @backlogged immigrant is right, the i485 quota of fy2022 has been met so there won’t be any approvals before October now 😓 source https://www.murthy.com/2022/09/07/update-and-short-term-predictions-on-visa-bulletin-movement/
