@Hanny G No, but I got my medical RFE this March and sent it in right away. They never update RFE or RRFE status on my case. I filed an inquiry and they confirmed that they’ve got it.

what’s your FO? if Houston is your actual FO they might be requiring an interview for i485 given that your i130 is approved based on bonafide marriage

@luhoo hoo apparently the FO decides which case interview needs to be waived. my friend has been told several times by Emma that interview was waived but received interview notice 2 weeks ago. obviously your i130 interview was waived but you never can tell about the i485! just take this with a grain of salt. it might or might not be waived just keep your mind open.

@Tu tu it was delivered on 3/21 and we waited about 4.5 months before I-130 got approved

@Tu tu I requested inquiry after I-130 approval because I thought I-485 shouldn’t take that much longer to be approved after I-130 in concurrent filing. It’s been 14 days since they got back to me and said there’s nothing for me to do

@luhoo hoo Are you also delivering your i693 to USCIS Houston FO? My I693 was delivered on March 23 to Houston FO but I never have any updates!!! so stressfully !Can I ask how long does it 130 to be approved after you send the inquiry?( I saw you sent an inquiry and USCIS replied to you they received your medical)

you can try to ask congressman in your district to help! I am doing that right now

@Tu tu same! Never an actual update about RFE on my case whatsoever. Only an email notification then silence. I think it’s just a Houston FO thing 🙄 I filed the inquiry after I-130 was approved. My inquiry was about if they’ve received my I-693 since I was worried that’s what was holding my I-485 back. I talked to an agent on Emma and they have this policy where if it’s been more than 90 days since your RFE was delivered but no update on your case status, they can file a inquiry for you. So that’s what I did, and got a response in 5 days. Honestly, the language in the response was so vague that I had to get another Emma agent and they confirmed that it means Houston FO doesn’t need anything else from me. I can only take their words for it at this point 😅

@luhoo hoo You can also ask a tier 2 call back ! I think tier 2 officers are really helpful

@Tu tu Yes, the I-130 was approved on its own. The response said something like we checked all the systems and files about your case and it’s still under review. Basically reads like an automated response. So I talked to a live agent to see what this means and they told me that it means there’s nothing out of ordinary and they don’t need anything from me, which implies that they got my rfe.

@Tu tu but I agree that Houston FO is so bad 😩 also, I was like, if you checked all the systems and files why don’t you just approve it while doing that? 😅😅😅😅

@luhoo hoo I read other posts on reddit/lawfully. Many people from Houston FO- they green card be approved usually one month after sending I693. I really have no idea what is going on for our case 😞 I have been stressful over 4-5 months.
