how long did it take to hear back from USCIS after sending in medical? brooklyn FO
we filed my i 130 back in 2020 and i 485 in april
2021. my i130 was approved in 2020 before i even filed for i 485. missed my interview date in december 2021 because the interview letter was sent back to USCIS as undeliverable. radio silence from uscis until this february when i received an rfe for medical. sent medical in, USPS said my medical was delivered and signed for on april 10th but USCIS hasn't updated it as received yet. how long did it take for other filers especially brooklyn/queens/nyc filers to hear back after sending in medical? i’m just worried because the medical rfe said that the deadline to send it in is May 5th and may 5th is in two days, i don’t want them to deny me.

@san P i spoke to a live agent thru USCIS site twice and they told me both times i can’t inquire until june 06 and that if USPS says it’s delivered not to worry. i’ll try calling anyways tho, hopefully they don’t give me the same answer

mine was deliver April 14 and I call Monday they say if was uploaded 22 it . i told them I didn't recieve a notice and I wanna make sure they receive it because I didn't even got a mail notice just email so .....

@Tanvi K same Filed office.. submitted mine 68 days ago and no update yet.. I called and they told me that the medical had been added to the case on March 11th and officer resumed work on it last Friday

@Tanvi K if they didn’t receive it they can’t just deny you this is what the agent on the phone said they will issue a notice of intent to deny asking for medical after that if you don’t respond they can deny you

@roro April 2022 i really hope you get approved soon because wow, 68 days is crazy… i was hoping i’d be approved by now because i’ve seen people who sent medical in after me getting approved before me, same FO too. i’m just tired of waiting at this point. but it’s a good thing you got confirmation that someone is working on your case. did your case status ever change to “received”?

@Tanvi K no it didn’t change to receive.. but I put a request for tier 2 officer to call me and I’m waiting till may 20th if not then I’ll write to get case assistance through
