nvc takes 78 days to review the documents then they will DQ you if they have all the required documents. after that they will send your case to embassy and depends on the embassy they will schedule the interview for him

@ribka congratulations 🎊 it takes between 3-14 days to get welcome letter from embassy. if you look at the website for nvc that they updated on may 9 it says “ as of may 9 we are working on cases that were received on April 27 “ keep an eye on your email yours is soon 🔜 - and how long did it take your approval ? USC or LPR ?

@sara rose I don’t know which embassy yet, we’re choosing between Djiboutis Embassy and Saudi Arabia’s embassy, and I’ve heard that Saudi takes a long time so I think Djibouti hopefully

it is at the bottom of any notice. it will tell you Nebraska, Texas, California, etc.

no that’s a mistake from uscis . I saw many many people having that issue . call USCIS . Request that the case gets sent to State Department immediately, contact the Ombudsman and/or involve your Senator/Congressperson if needed. Do not file an I-824 and don’t pay the filing fee.

your lawyer is wrong 😑 don’t listen to lawyer they are trash I had lawyer she ruined my case I removed her already. trust me do what I told you . I-824 is only for those who live in USA and doing adjustment of status and the processing time for that is 27 months !!! be careful don’t trust the lawyer call uscis and ask for your case to be sent to nvc immediately because the beneficiary is outside USA

explain that you didn’t choose adjustment of status instead you chose consular processing . consular processing is for those who live outside USA and will have interview outside of USA . I-824 is for adjustment of status
