@Patricia Bell-Eastman well somewhat my I-485 got approved like around 11 that day then by 1 the same day my I-130 got approved but maybe them soon approve the I-485

@Nav sandhu no I didn’t get nothing it’s still saying case approved I was just shock when I saw my social security card so if yours is saying card produced on April 1st then by Friday are next Monday you should have it depends on your postal service

congrats. I spoke with a tear 2 officer,he told me my i130 and i485 will be adjudicated the same time by may.

@Nicola 🇯🇲 after you receive your approval letter in the mail about 2 to 3 days after that you will get a notification say your card been produced and a next one says the postal service pick up your card that’s when it with ship to you

@Nicola 🇯🇲 best case scenario a couple of days, worst case scenario a couple of months. am currently on my 42nd day since case has been approved February 20 and no green card produced yet, but normally it shouldn’t be more than 2-3 weeks after getting approved. hoping the best for you.

@Nicola 🇯🇲 I didn’t need a social security number since I was a student and had one, about the reason, I reached out and it so happens that in some rare cases, green card production do fail and when that happens they have to reinitiate the production again, someone I met who didn’t get this green card until 90 days after approval said he had to go to the office and do another biometric because they claimed his image isn’t bright enough and that’s why the production failed twice in this case. however these are rare exceptions, like say 1 out of every 1000 person are in this situation, so I do think you are in the same boat as us, lol. for me I had to call them and request for an appointment for temporary stamp i551 which is in itself a permanent residence evidence that’s pasted on your passport and valid for re entry and any benefit of a permanent resident. am getting the stamp tomoroow and so I am not really bothered, they can send the card anytime they want really, as far as I can work and can travel. I see lots of your post and happy for your approval, congratulations once again and looking forward to seeing your post about Grencard Finally in Hand very soon.

Should take just a few days, my SSN arrived with no restrictions after I-130 approval and I was so confused but then within a couple of days the I-485 got approved and I got my green card in the mail. Congrats!!

@Don T oh okay I do have a social from when I got EAD but that had restrictions on it, but since they approve me for my green card I got a new social security with no restrictions same number tho, but as far as all the other stuff you said I hope that’s not the case for my sake

@Sean s 🇯🇲 after my EAD got approved i had to go down to social security and the one I got on the front of it it said for work authorization only, but since I got approved for my green card I received a new social security and that one have no restrictions on it
