I learnt from my colleagues who got GC approvals before me to forget everything that we have ever applied while waiting and only respond to USCIS if they ask for something and that one can come to know through USPS informed delivery. This is very difficult to do but folks who did it and took things lightly were less anxious than me. But it is very difficult to maintain sanity especially if someone had to go through company shutdown or visa expiration etc if in case.

it's all good 👍 , what you're feeling is normal. waiting for so long has an impact on your mood, lifestyle etc. hopefully when we get this matter resolved we'll be able to bounce back to "pre immigration state of mind" 😄. search for "impractical jokers" on YouTube, this will put you in the right mood for the meantime 😀

Losing my marbles

I m Glad someone is talking about it. I came to this country on F1. Right after graduation Joined non profit and till now I m with them and even after GC i will be with them. Now the wait. I received my H1b during Covid Era, when travel ban started so no chance of re stamping and couldn't visit my country. then GC process started in late 2020 and one after another wait and here i m. I have EAD approved but no AP. and waiting for i485 approval since April 2023. During this Journey my mon went through major surgery and I couldn't be with her. My niece was born I couldn't visit them. my life is running on messenger and FaceTime. I ve seen people growing old in my family new pople born and many more events but all on social media and what's App and i m sick about it but again i have the Hope someday. Yes, My productivity is dramatically decreased. moreover it has impacted my creativity. I keep on thinking when and how long? But at the same time i keep myself strong some day for sure. good luck to everyone in this Journey. we have to make sure we remember this pain and do better in life once we have it. good luck.

We are in the same boat! This is increasing my anxiety, and I can’t sleep thinking about it. My EAD is about to expire, and I have received no answer from USCIS so far. Good luck to every one!

I think all the people here are from CRP status. I think that’s the worst status. when the dates retrogressed I was not that anxious. but my dates are current for last 3 months and I can’t stop checking the app lol

@Cristina Gueiros Ruggi My current EAD is under C5 category (J2 visa) this will expire at the end of this month. I apply for my AOS and combo card on November 27, 2023 (as EB1-A derivative applicant), did my fingerprints on December 29, but my case status still says “fees were waived” no updates since I filled it.

Quite uplifting to see the comments here, we are all dealing with this one way or the other. I cannot wait for one of us to create a new thread “New Card being Produced”. I wish we could hang out at beer!

Waiting is so hard! Everyday, I check my email for any kind of updates. It can be so frustrating and hard but I keep pushing trusting God and praying. I really hope the system changes.

we are all on the same page, I read all comments, that’s so frustrating alot of great people stuck in the process due the crazy immigration system, keeping sanity is so hard, Im trying to distract myself by anything, every day pray, the day will come for all of us one day, just matter of time
