expedite can’t be denied they we either tell you to wait due to work load or they working on your case

no, they can deny the expedite, in their response to me they specifically said - request was denied.

I as well submitted 2 expedites already (lawyer helped) and both were denied. Reason for that? None. I do have humatarian reasons, financial hardship, job waiting, mortgage, showed proof of everything including bills and was still denied. No reasoning behind it besides “not enough reason to expedite” yet my reasons were all the reasons that someone should be able to expedite..I truly feel your pain... I too would like to know what someone else did to get their expedite request approved..

@Tochi Idika, they didn't even say why it was denied,just said details of denial are not available in their response 🤷‍♀️

@Venii Aaa, I saw a couple of posts where people said that they were able to expedite by just saying they maybe having a job offer and it was enough. I've sent bills, proof of hardship, a new job contract and still my expedite was denied with no explanation. I guess it really depends on the officer who is reviewing our expedites, someone has a heart and understands the hardship, others just deny our expedites without even caring.

I completely agree, unfortunately as my lawyer says it does depend on the officer. The humanitarian reason I mentioned in this last expedite (last week) they denied me in less than 24hrs of receiving my request.. it’s unfortunate due to the circumstances and I think anyone in my position would want to be with their loved ones.. Wish us both luck in this process and better news..

I also got denied using a job offer…so frustrating. @Venii, can I ask you used humanitarian reason to expedite i765 or i131?

@rl are you the petitioner? financial hardship usually only works for petitioner as grounds to expedite not for the beneficiary

@slammz D, That’s not quite true either. Even if the petitioner is the one showing proof for financial hardship to expedite a case, it still gets denied. I know this because that’s what happened in our case. My lawyer was very shocked the expedite request was denied but it’s like @R L mentioned above, it really depends on the officer you get, or so I think so as well.. you can have all good reasons to expedite but doesn’t mean it will get approved. At the end of the day, it’s up to the officer you get..

@R L just sharing below what I did. March 10, 2022: I submitted my request to expedite my EAD by talking to an officer over the phone (haven’t gone through the congressperson yet). I told the officer that I have been on unpaid leave for 6 months with no other source of income and my medical bills are piling up. Also told the officer my job (IT consultant) and I have a client waiting for my return to work. USCIS didn’t ask for any evidence. March 15, 2022: We received your request for expedite processing. March 15, 2022: Expedite Request Approved.

@R L I called this number +1 (800) 375-5283 and gave the following answers (one by one) to the IVR: 1. Expedite request 2. Submit an expedite request 3. Form I-765 4. Based on financial loss to a person, missed job opportunity, unpaid medical bills 5. Yes (to confirm that I want to talk to a live agent)

i expedited my case on 03/14/2022 but no response. what to do???

I expidate through my congrass in 2 th March then on 10 March the congrass recive email from uscis that we recoeve your expidate request if they criteria seen we will expidate no response until today

@n jave when I spoke to a live agent, they asked me to wait for 7 days, then I received an update on my expedite request after 5 days. Try to contact them again if you don’t get an update after 7 days

and yesterday I recieved email from lawfuly ur case approve but no change on status I confused 😐

@f b I spoke to a live agent to expedite my case (was my first). After 5 days (yesterday), they accepted my request without asking for evidence. Then today, my status got updated to “New Card is Being Produced”.

I expidate my i131 true congrass but the uscis says it is in back ground pending proseess and I see in my recepit number infornt it is written onther recepit with start IOE

I don't know what is this can anyone tell me

@Brian EAD , thanks , I have spoke with live agent 2 days ago and she gave me a number for my request , but I did not find any change in the case , it did not even mention that there is expedite request received, hope that I can find an update soon ..

current processing date shows as june2021, did any june filers receive their EAD, just wanted to make sure at least now processing times are correct

@R L When did they receive your application? I believe they are more likely to deny the request if you just recently filed

@val bal, it's been 4 months, but I had a valid reason for expedite, I got a job offer and I have huge bills to pay, they just don't care
