@Michael K Remember that you can travel without parole on an L1A as long as the visa is still valid.

@K D I do understand that, however standing in line for non-LPR for 3 hours straight at JFK to get in makes me want to get a GC badly

I wish you the best. Couple of my colleagues got their GC last year in less than 6 months , while mine is pending for 14 months ( Dec 2022 filing date EB1C/L1A). it all depends on luck !
