Homesick
We've been married for ten years, have two kids together, a whole life established. To know I have to wait another 6-8 months for the government to confirm our marriage is real, is draining. As the petitioner I'm homesick for the US but can't and won't leave my husband behind.
Hoping this process speeds up.

meanwhile people have “relationships” for 5 mins and get their green card in 3 months. I’m so sorry. I know the wait sucks. I’m also waiting for them to even LOOK at my 130 (and 485) and the birth certificates of our shared children 🙃 @Tess M

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 I hear that. Our kids are dual citizens so really the only one needing a visa is my husband. He's also in demand with his job and background in the US. Wish there was a separate category for the long haul marriage folks.
