he'll so I just want to ask why uscis give some ppl 1 year ead n some more than 1 year ?

The two-year EAD only goes to pending I-485 applicants, who have filed for an EAD and who are currently UNABLE to adjust status because an immigrant visa number is NOT currently available for them....
Adjustment of status applicants who have an AVAILABLE immigrant visa number and filed for an EAD gets only 1 year because by that time they should have their green card in hand. It's just that sometimes processing gets slowed down and the 1 year EAD applicants will have to renew.
