Hi! My spouse I-485 form was rejected due to “application type”. I am unclear about the reason, should I put the same application type as mine? This new form is a little confusing, any thoughts?

Your spouse is in the same category as you, and there's another check box indicating that the I-485 is for a derivative dependent

thank you both! I submitted it on June 2nd, 2025 and yes, I tried to reach them out, however after a couple of more researches I found that the same as @Aaron O is indicating, same category as mine, so I think it should be fine now
