you don’t have to file another I-765. I called USCIS to change my category

I was told to write a letter to request a change of category together with my I-485 and send to Nebraska my service center

I did that and also sent the letter again through congressman together with my pending I-485 receipt notice. I got approved few days later

I didn't pay coz I attached a copy of my pending I485 with the I765 form, along with prima facie, I94, and passport photos to Nebraska and got receipt notice after 8 weeks

@blessed ng how long was ur C31 pending and how long after filling change did u get approved. Please explain in depth. Coz my lawyer don't wanna change it coz she filled C31 and that's why I refilled C09 separately on my own.
