unfortunately, my friend, the current priority date that being processed for the F4 category (brothers and sisters of adult US citizen) from India is May 2005

Adam is right! I applied for my brother in 2013 and the visa bulletin for India is running at 2005. Now, because of the COVID conditions it’s not expected move any faster either. it’s gonna be a long wait unfortunately!

Lawyers cannot change the “final action dates.” Unless you get an RFE and don’t know how to respond to it, hiring a lawyer would be a waste! My brother is also in India and married. You’re much closer to the dates becoming current then we are. Hang in there!

meena, just today we got an I-130 approval from USCIS for the case filed for my brother in 2013. File sent to NVC. Waiting for a welcome letter from them and the wait starts for the visa bulletin to become current :).

any idea how long will take now from NVC , mines they showes are in NVC.but didn’t get any letter from them, I called them that time they told me about that.

my filing is from 2013, still waiting, no movement and it's at th he California service center..
