hi all
if you have different address history because a lot of moving and doesn’t remember exact dates where you stayed and how long, and also on your police report, a arrest history for a false acquisition but released clear from court. also time of staying at the address where police report was made is wrong. how these effect the case?what supporting docs should be given to support the deed ? help, any similar cases ?

in regards to addresses you can just put month and year as best as you remember. For the arrest, you will need a court disposition. You can obtain that at the place you were convicted/ cleared.

hey, elvis thanks for the info, even it’s mentioned on the police report that the person was clear from the court, Acquitted. he still needs to get the court disposition?

in form I485 this question Have you EVER been arrested, cited, charged, or detained for any reason by any law enforcement official (including but not limited to any U.S. immigration official or any official of the U.S. armed forces or U.S. Coast Guard)? I am assuming the person was issued a citation. whatever happened on court the result, you can obtain that. It is called a court disposition. and it will show the final judgement of the case. I believe that this person needs it. But I am not a lawyer so idk. In my case my attorney had me get it

it’s not for form I-485 , but it’s for immigration visa , nvc documents. but I got the point that it’s a clearance notice from court and it’s better to have it if they asked at interview. just to be in safe side. thanks 😊

samina you'll need police report and a court disposition. They go hand in hand. Police report will state what happens, and thr disposition will state if the charge was dismissed. In terms of your address but the dates you can remember and try to try to remember them. It won't matter where you were staying when the arrest report was made, this is irrelevant to your case. Get your court disposition ensure that its certified and make sure you get a certified copy of the police report.
