wife’s i130 was approved couple of days before leaving the US, my i485 is still in pending, it shows case is actively reviewing since August 8, my lawyer told me that, they are not approved because I am outside of the country. did someone hear about that ? thank you

sometimes. I have heard that happening but my lawyer also said that he had a client that was approved while away.
my 130 was approved July 26 but it took my 485 until Sept 10th. so it sometimes just takes some time. I also had a trip in August but it was about a month after 130 approval.

I have traveled after 5 days of i130 approval, because I had an emergency. it is a month now since I left US, I will be back soon. I hope to hear the approval before I back 🙏. thank you @w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸

yes September 10 was approval day. I was away from August 17-24th. don’t think that impacted anything. @Adam Redding
