I don't think it can be paused. You may have to cancel it and lose the fees

send a letter saying that you want cancel your process with the information of your case

Don't do this out of Anger,once whatever is bothering the both of you as a couple is resolved, you will have to start all over again. The wait will be more frustrating and you will regret doing this. There is no pause button in USCIS, unless you withdraw the case. But think twice, thank me later.

@me mu thank you a lot...but he just showing me a lot of red flags 🚩…I have done everything for this guy but he doesn’t respect me and appreciate me for all the good I have done for him …I fought my parents because of him I am just confused now because I don’t want him to come here and treat me the way he treats now

Always go with your gut instincts, if you feel like something is telling you to stop the process then do it.. If he’s doing that now and isn’t even here I couldn’t imagine living together, best of luck to you but do what you’re heart tells you.
