Help please
Hello everyone I need advice. So I came to the us on j1 visa applied for it to be waiver. I got my Ead, they terminate my travel i131 I’m supposing because the waiver didn’t get approved. I went in for interview in may for i130 and got approved but my i485 got denied. in the interview officer said I need to get the j1 waived. I don’t know what else to do. my lawyer said I just have to wait for approval. my home country already approved it but immigration said they didn’t get any approval or waiver notice. please what should I do?#helpplease

Contact your home country embassy or whoever is handling the waiver letter, and ask them to resend it again and copy you as well, so that can be your reference in case they are still saying it has not been received.

i was in the same situation. I reapplied and included the I-601 approval letter on top of the new I-495 application package. I wish you good luck.
