help me to understand
I see many cases from 2024 approved and the oldest ones still pending. why is that?

because USCIS wants people to think that they are working fast when they are not. so each year they process the newer cases and the older ones suffer. this is so crazy it makes no sense but that is there way I guess. people who filed cases in 2023 and before have to just hope and pray that we get approved soon.

if i can understand it i will explain it to u 😂 @Pam Pi i dont want to say anything 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

@🦍 ❤️ Wrong, it has nothing to do with filling it with or without a lawyer…. Who are you to say that some people are «always being cheap »…? Seriously?!

@🦍 ❤️ I’m not gonna lie that’s kind of true. I know a lot of self filers that messed up and keep getting 2-3 RFE
w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸Jul 20, 2024
@🦍 ❤️ really? I paid a lawyer and have an open and shut case. please. my RFE was for a birth certificate and some people get processed within 3 months with an RFE. its LUCK. don’t be an a$$hole on here

@🦍 ❤️ - We paid $6,000 for our lawyer plus USCIS fees and are at 442 days…so it has zero to do with having a lawyer or being cheap. 😂
Adrian PJul 20, 2024
@🦍 ❤️ what are you doing in this group if your lawyer can answer all your questions? having a lawyer or not doesn’t change the fact that every case is processed differently. some maybe longer than others
Pam PiJul 20, 2024
@tas tas and fees increased to work faster and here we are😖
Pam PiJul 20, 2024
@lulu 369 haha but you are so close to the end
Pam PiJul 20, 2024
@🦍 ❤️ hope you get everything done so soon and don’t have to wait and feel stress about it. believe me I don’t want anybody feel this anxiety.

@🦍 ❤️ I agree with @w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 ...luck!!! I did it on my own everything went well ..others pay lawyer 6-7k and waiting..my Friend got married a year before me paid a lawyer and just got 10 year in march and I'm a citizen.. I pray everything moves smoothly for you..trust me this is not an easy road ..good luck!!

@🦍 ❤️ I did mine with a lawyer, submitted it December 7 2023 and I’m still waitin, only got my EAD and AP, so I disagree. People bragging about their short timeline don’t realize that they’ve been lucky. Be humble.

@🦍 ❤️ so false! I hired a 8000$ lawyer who did shit and got me a denial because he sent the wrong paperwork, sooo that’s extremely false.

Every case is unique. Some are very simple and some are not. Having a lawyer does not speed it up. Lawyers make mistakes also.

@🦍 ❤️ what a nasty attitude, holding that “God is turning things in your favor “ sign in your profile picture. Actually, there are a lot of lawyers messing up big time. Be kind, and remember we are all humans going through the same thing.

@🦍 ❤️ and for the record, I had a close friend that hired a lawyer for her case and her husband still ended up in administrative review at the embassy.

@Pam Pi many reasons, maybe expedites, faster service center etc.
