Hello to all, I need some sort of guidance as I am unsure what steps I am supposed to take moving forward. I am currently attempting to bring my husband into the US as a citizen or permanent resident. I have filed the Form I-130 and all documents that need to go with it. however is there any other forms I should be filing to speed up the process any? thank you in advance. I know it has only been 5 months and it takes longer than that of course, however I am trying to stay on top of things and make this go as smoothly as possible as I am doing this without a lawyer.

there’s nothing to do but wait for approval. after approval you will be sent an email with the next set of instructions. every for NVC will be done online.

Like Mr MCC said. You can file a I-129f K3 form for free and it has, with a bit of luck, the chance to speed the decision regarding your I130 up.

I submitted my I -730 application forms for more than 56 (fifty six )months. Today is New year and I'm alone again, Everyone is happy with their family but I am alone. this process made me very tired. I miss my wife and daughter. the file has been transferred to Nebraska for 30 ( thirty) months ago and nothing heard from USCIS in regards

@Joey A not yet but this is 17days my K3 has been it when 1nd I have as well received Notice of action from them. although my processing time has gone from 2months to 5weeks then to 4weeks now I just don't want to hope on that but I believe soon my case will be approved. from my findings, all the cases like mine that they transferred from Potomac to Vermont has not gotten approval yet so it is a general something. but now that the holiday is about to end , I am sure they will start treating on my cases and others

I have engaged an immigration attorney on this matter since 40 months ago and no yet responds from USCIS Nebraska Service till now. very sad
