Help! Duplicate Application

Hi, Does anyone know how to handle duplicate applications to the USCIS. My friends EB1 application was presumed missing and she sent another one only for the first one to be delivered to be found and delivered to USCIS. Any ideas on how to proceed?

Are Checks provided on both applications same or different? If the checks for applications are not cashed, put a hold on the application which you don't want to be processed, they will automatically reject the application.
