HELP
They approved my I-131 today (advance parole) after more than 1 year. Do you recommend that I travel to my country? What has been your experience with advance parol? I am adjusting status (because they told me that it is up to the immigration officer to let me back in and that it is not safe. And 10 days ago they started actively reviewing the I-130 after receiving my documents from the RFE

alot of people
say they travel out of the country however our lawyer advised against it and to wait on greencard because reentry isnt gauranteed. yes some
people may say they have had no problem however that is them and we arent taking that risk.We rather wait and be safe and go with our convictions

The whole point of I-131 is so you can leave & re-enter without abandoning.
If you are otherwise eligible for entry, take your trip.
If you have reasons for ineligibility (criminal record, overstay, etc.) then do not risk it imo.

it’s a big risk it’s up the the office to let u back in does matter u have no criminal record…..again if you do your research, it tells you it’s the officer discretion to let you back in they don’t have too

I have used AP 12times and still counting
never had an issue or anything with re entry.
I feel more safe with my AP than my B1B2 visa
