Have you got any response to congressman inquiry?

@Charlie SC yeah they said due to backlog case is taking longer than normal.

I'm waiting since Oct 23.

EB2 is looking sleepy.

It’s weird that they take quite long on similar cases that were submitted in 2023 or early 2024. My friend got approved under EB2-ROW on Oct 10th. And he applied in July 2024. in just 3 months.

same timeline, filed on Oct 2023, case status stuck at fingerprints were taken.

@Charlie SC, nothing specific-general description about the case only.

@Charlie SC i tried sending service requests, reached out to congressman, 2 senetors, all of them received a generic response and nothing worked for me. I'm planning to submitting ombudsman request next and I might go writ of mandamus is I don't receive any approval by January 2025.

@Huzaifa Hasan I once used ombudsman and it's very systematic and I think helpful. I have seen a few EB2 people on lawfully (you might know them already) whose cases are getting delayed.

@Huzaifa Hasan have you consulted with your lawyer if you have submitted your application through them?

@s khan It's quite unfortunate how long some cases get dragged. Keep trying to hear something.
